Poetry

Zoe Marie Bel writes poems about love and resilience.

Often compared to song lyrics, Zoe's poems are the result of many years of taking to verse when vibrating with love, solidarity or objection. No doubt her poems are tinged with her admiration of the work of Maya Angelou, Cate Marvin, Jack Gilbert, Pablo Neruda, W.H. Auden and John Fuller.

Zoe Marie Bel poetry cards launching in Winter 2025

Zoe is presently working on a set of poetry cards that will be available for purchase later this year.

The debut set of cards comprises six poems, each printed on premium 32pt card (and each with its own envelope, if requested). While the poems are mainly romantic, several are intended for friends and family too, making them a versatile toolkit for life in general. The back of the cards are blank, with no pre-printed message. You'll be free to decide for yourself the most fitting words in accompaniment.

We are currently testing a variety of shapes, sizes and formats for the cards, with the aim of bringing you beautiful words made tangible as a beautiful object. See an example poem card from the Winter 2025 Card Set in Zoe Marie Bel's Journal.

The poetry cards will be available for purchase online at Scatterpunk Press, as well as in select bookstores in the US, UK and France after then. To be notified when the cards are available for purchase, sign up for the Zoe Marie Bel newsletter below.
